Awakening?

I have been hearing this term over and over for years about are you going through an Awakening? What does it all mean to us? Have you guys heard that saying before? Or am I the only one? lol. According to google dictionary, awakening is an act or moment of becoming aware of something.

I have a belief that we all go through stages of growth through out our life that are necessary for us to advance, open up, become wiser and hold more knowledge about who we truly are as an individual and also as a whole. There will be some challenges that will be such hard hitters that it will make us question everything about our existence which then leads us to look and do research and understand our selves, our society, our environment on a whole new level.

Exactly 1 year ago I experienced betrayal and humiliation at its highest. Up until then my life was nothing beautiful, I  was ready to explode. It felt like I had been on a big roller-coaster ride and it was time to get off that shit. On January 28th 2018, I received the biggest hit yet of my life, I was released from my duties as Franchise owner, not at my will and at a total surprise. 7 years of hard work, 3 years which were the hardest working years of my life. I lost what still seems everything. Through this fall I started my spiritual journey.

Sometimes we fail to realize that there is more to life than work, than money, than titles. I feel that we all need to become more self aware, where we realize that our bodies, mind & soul are so important to take care of. I have come to find out that our love for life starts within ourselves first and not from anyone else or any material possessions.
